Help friends, family, and neighbours vote
Make a list of 5 people who know who support Vote Housing, but may not vote today. Starting tonight:
- Email or text each friend the link to find their polling station
- Email or text each friend our page with party platform highlights
- If possible, offer to accompany your friend to the polls. Maybe go for a coffee afterwards!
- For friends who live farther away, plan a video chat with them after they vote.
- Ask each of your friends to send a message to their candidates and party leaders before they vote. This is our last chance to reach all parties and candidates!

TELL PARTY LEADERS AND CANDIDATES: THIS ELECTION’S TOP ISSUE IS HOUSING
TELL PARTY LEADERS AND CANDIDATES: THIS ELECTION’S TOP ISSUE IS HOUSING
Let your local federal candidates and national party leaders know that you are going to (or have already) Vote Housing this election. Any party and candidate seeking power in this federal election should align with the Vote Housing six-point platform and commit to ending homelessness and housing precarity, once and for all.
With 5 million Canadians worrying about how to pay for their housing in the next month and 235,000 people experiencing homelessness each year, this election’s top issues that unify us all are housing and homelessness.
Send a letter to your local candidates and the party leaders using our simple form and let them know you want to see solutions to housing and homelessness on the campaign trail.
Upon filling in the form, you will be added to the Vote Housing campaign’s email list (which is shared with our partner organizations) to receive important campaign communications as we grow our movement from coast to coast. You will also receive useful links to voting information and reminders. If you provide your mobile number, we will also add you to our list to receive occasional alerts, voting reminders, and notifications of local volunteer opportunities. You can unsubscribe at any time from the link included in every message.
